I was born in Pusan, South Korea way back in 1969.  My parents wanted a more opportune life for the family so we immigrated to the United States in 1976.  We spent the first 3 years in Omaha, Nebraska before permanently taking up residence in Washington State.

I had grown up in the church almost all my life but did not come to acknowledge Christ as my Lord and Savior until I was 15 years old.  I felt the calling into ministry soon after my conversion and have served at various churches in the Puget Sound area and the Bay Area (either as a volunteer or pastor) since I was a teenager.  I did leave my last pastoral position back in 2000 to pursue a worldly career but continued to participate at various churches as a layman.  I have been a member of Compass Christian Center for about the last 4 years and feel humbled and blessed the leadership and congregation of Compass Christian Center has invited me to serve as an Associate Pastor beginning in 2010.

I am excited to be returning to pastoral ministry and also seminary schooling that I had abandoned back in 1999.  I hope to complete my M. Div. studies by 2011 and utilize the rest of my remaining years serving the Lord and His people diligently and faithfully.

I am truly blessed to be married to a very beautiful, supportive and loving wife (whom is the better person of the two of us) and being blessed with two young boys who keep my life very active.  I believe having faith in Christ, being obedient to his teachings, and focusing on the family are keys to a fulfilling, content and joyful life.

It is by God's grace, mercy and gift that I am called to serve as an associate pastor at CCC.  May our mighty God utilize CCC to make great advancements for His kingdom on earth.
